(Archive) Emails not visible (unless using super user)

I have configured Email Archiving (using the super account) and have this working nicely.

 

Using the account super, I am able to see my archive emails for a contact. When logging in with an ordinary user (my own which I want to use for normal usage), I do not see the archive emails.

 

I have ensured that the filtering is set to show Everyone and Activities is set to All.

 

Can anyone explain to me why I am not seeing my emails?

 

(Also - the target email address of the archive email is linked to the above user with which I cannot see the archive emails!)

You may want to look at these wikis. They explain how to control what records each user can see. Maybe you have a group or role or something else misconfigured:

You have the ability to create:

  • Roles
  • Groups
  • Permissions, Rights, Policies
  • Ad-hoc teams

Yep - it was the group role permissions which were not set correctly. It's very confusing though since I have selected to view Everyone, yet this only works with a particular permission...
