im working in LAMP(php5.3.2 and apache2.2.14).Im not able to install Zurmo in my local server since Zurmo require php5.3.3 and apache2.2.16. i tried to upgrade them by using my synaptic manager in linux mint but no use.The latest versions im getting through it are same ie php5.3.2 and apache2.2.14.Im not an expert in linux.
i also got an issue with Redbean php while installing.i have downloaded the file rb.php and placed under /var/www/zurmo/redbean/rb.php but i got an error like this:
RedBean version installed: 1.3 Minimum version required: 1.3
RedBean file is missing patch. -FAIL
Anyone please help me to upgrade my php and apache to php5.3.3 and apache2.2.16 respectively.
I also need a tip to install php apc.

Did you follow step 3.6 from the linux install guide? http://zurmo.org/wik...for-development
This specifically says how to patch the redbean file.

Regarding APC, you can skip that for now. It is more important that you have memcache installed correctly.

Regarding the php/apache versions, what flavor of linux are you using? Are you able to setup a VM, then you could setup a different flavor of linux to match what we use in our continuous build environment. Or you can run the installation on a windows environment as well.

thanx for the quick reply.
issue#1: redbean php issue is ok now.
issue#2:i found memchache is intsalled in my system
.
issue#3:im using linux mint 10 right now. i think its little complicated to get the zurmo's latest updated php&apache versions in linux . im also tried with some linux commands to upgrade my versions, but no use.Anyway let me try once more to find the latest versions of it or i will install windows 7 and WAMP server.i think that will solve this issue.

I don't have experience with Mint Linux distribution, but as it is Debian based, I think you can type:
apt-get update
apt-get install php5
You should run these commands as root. If you can't login as root, you can try to add sudo command:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install php5

That would be great!I think I can arrange howto with installing LAMP + zurmo on a Redhat based distro. Have used OpenSuse so can also prepare howto for SLES, OpenSuse. Also might have sense to prepare small virtual HDD image for virtual machine that would run a distro without Xorg, just web server.
