Now I have a different problem. See below:
Failed Required Services
Apache version installed: 2.2.14
Minimum version required: 2.2.1
FAIL
PHP version installed: 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.14
Minimum version required: 5.3.3
FAIL
Curl version installed: 7.19.7
Minimum version required: 6.0
FAIL
Yii version installed: 1.1.10
Minimum version required: 1.1.10
FAIL
RedBean version installed: 1.3
Minimum version required: 1.3
FAIL
From what I can tell....The only thing that should be updated is PHP version...But, whats the deal with the others? Will there be a bypass for this? I would rather not roll-back on any versions and all the others are at the minimum version.
Required Services Issue...

Ok, I think I know what was issue, your php version was not formatted good(5.3.2-1ubuntu4.14), so that was reason why asserts happen, and why we had to remove line of code I mentioned.
So, lets do following:
1. Upgrade your PHP version to 5.3.3 or higher
2. I don't know if after upgrade your php version will show correct number or not, so you can try to install it just after upgrade. If you still have problem you can try to comment line 46 in CheckServiceUtil.php file located in app/protected/modules/Install/Utils.
Please inform if your installation was successful after these steps.

Zurmo relies on 5.3 specific code, so it is likely that once you are on 5.3 those other fails will go away.
