I am sorry to revisit this but, i see no real answers to the problem.

I have got smtp working fine - email are being sent.

However, incoming email is another matter.  Running the inbound email job results in

"

Process Inbound Email Job
The job has completed running.
Job Output:
  1. Script will run at most for 500 seconds.
  2. Sending output to runtime/jobLogs/EmailArchiving.log
  3. 10/25/17 3:31 PM Europe/London Starting job type: EmailArchiving
  4. 2017/10/25 15:31:24 Info - Script will run at most for 500 seconds.
  5. 2017/10/25 15:31:24 Info - Starting job type: EmailArchiving
  6. 2017/10/25 15:31:24 Info - Job completed successfully
  7. 10/25/17 3:31 PM Europe/London Ending job type: EmailArchivin

"

If I understand the above, it is suggesting the email job has run successfully.  However, there are no ew emails received?

Any suggestions, anyone, please?

Also, if I can get this to work - is their a cronjob that needs to be set to automate email collection?

Cheers,

Mike

Hi Mike,

Did you set up email archiving as outlined in http://zurmo.org/wiki/email-archiving ?

The post is fairly old but taking a brief look the steps should be more or less still valid.

Cheers
Oliver

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for that - this seems to deal with user to user.  I was thinking along the lines of collecting email from an email account.

So I send an email to one of the contacts in Zurmo - the contact replies - this is then entered into the Zurmo email system.  There are quite a few CRMs out there that make this simple - you have an email screen that you can attach emails to contacts with ease.  I suspect this level of functionality is beyond Zurmo.

Cheers,

Mike
