Does anyone know any web hosting companies who offer all the components needed to get Zurmo up and running?

The web host company should have: memcache, APC, Tidy: all built into the the web offering to reduce the work of having to prepare the the platform before Zurmo will install. It would be nice to know of a few. Thanks

Normally the most difficult to have is the memcached support, the rest can be configured as php extensions. A few months ago i investigated and justhost.com seemed to fulfill all the requirements with a fair price. They have live chat support and you can ask if they have all the required elements. I never tested it, so I cannot assure the quality of the service, maybe Jason has a better reference.
Let us know if you contact them.

We can provide US based hosting ourselves or you can also go with one of our hosting partners, Dotblock: http://zurmo.org/for...ting-for-zurmo/
With either option, Zurmo is setup and configured with all the necessary components and there is nothing you need to install on your end. If you want further details on either option, I can send you a private message.

I purchased hosting on dotblock with the Zurmo package because I wanted to try Zurmo but didn't want to go through the installation pain. Unfortunately dotblock installs the 0.6.1 release which is quite old and doesn't have any of the features I want to try. If I try to update to 0.6.9 then I'll have to go through more pain than I would have if I'd just started from scratch.

Big disappointment.

I am sorry to hear this. We will need to do a better job working with Dotblock to make sure their stacks are up-to-date.

Just want to let everyone know that after I explained my situation to dotblock, they immediately updated my zurmo stack to the 0.7.0 release.

That is fantastic service. And with the SSD servers, it's fast!

Hey, FatCow asked me to tell them the hosting requirements. Do I tell them

---The web host company should have: memcache, APC, Tidy: all built into the the web offering to reduce the work of having to prepare the the platform before Zurmo will install.---

Sorry to be so naive about all this and hope this is correct forum. What will FatCow need to do to host my Zurmo? Do I need to do it myself (not sure how) or can I simply direct them to hosting instruction pages? Thanks.

They can go to this page: http://zurmo.org/download and the best link is this: http://zurmo.org/wik...-for-production

Some web-host providers have a difficult time handling Zurmo because there are some tweaks that need to be made to the database and other things like APC and memcache. Hopefully, there are able to make it work.
