Place to store Corporate Information

Would like a place to store corporate information.

If my A company is running Zurmo, there should be a place I can enter details about my company (name, address....). These details can used later on in email Templates, report headers, ....

What about creating an Account for "A Company" in the CRM and enter the name, address, and other details. Would that work?

I was thinking about this, and I'm wondering how we should go about attaching things to "Me", so when I want to create a task to pick up the milk, and pay the electric bill, I may not have a contact, if I was a contact, (similar to the corp contact above) I'd have a place to attach this kind of stuff. This might be a good place to attach system notices too. Just a thought.
