Hi i'm Federico from Italy a php developer since 2009.

A bit of me

I work in a web-agency, as developer of backoffice and some medium sized proprietary website.

In private i have developed (with another person) a medium size business project (A to Z).

Until now frameworkless.

I'm here cause:
  • I have searched a good PHP framework -> I found Yii :)
  • I have searched an example of "well done" Yii app -> What i found?! I found a
  • very well structured/organized project
  • based on TDD and of course Continuos Integration :)
  • that "keep in mind" end-user and server performance
  • and have multilanguage support
  • it's customizable
  • and so on....
  • I found Zurmo! :) :) and would be nice help for this project :)

Hi guys it is nice to contribute to the Zurmo CRM, my name is Diego Toala I've been in the software field for 5 years developing .net and php apps. I can contribute in the spanish translation and developing modules on the User Interface Team or the Features Team.

One of the apps I've worked is a Sport Management Software http://www.manta2011...php/panel/index for the South America Beach Games http://www.manta2011....php/medallero/, it's based on YII.

The software has a lot of features, one of them is the generation of credentials for athletes maybe ZURMO can use it generating credentials for sellers or clients.

I'm downloading ZURMO right now.

Kind Regards,
Diego Toala

Hello Diego,
Welcome to the Zurmo Community. We are excited to have you on board! If you start by downloading the app and running the tests, you will be in good shape. Not sure if you saw the install instructions, but here they are:
http://zurmo.org/wik...-for-production

Once Zurmo is installed and you are ready to build some custom modules, you can reference this wiki article: http://zurmo.org/wik...stomizing-zurmo

Look forward to your feedback.
Thanks,
Ray

Hello San,
Welcome to the Zurmo Community and thank you for being active on the Forums! You have already asked a number of good questions that our other community members have benefited from. What kind of project are you working on for your friend? Is it CRM or a custom app?
In terms of helping the community, there are a number of areas that can be assisted. Is there a particular area where you would like to help out (language team, features team, continuous build team, etc.)? You can see the different teams here: http://zurmo.org/get-involved
Thank you so much for your willingness to help out.

Hi!

My name is Sacha and and have a longtime history as a PHP developer (> 10 years) and other Open Source technologies, including Yii. In my daily career I am involved in the application management of financial ERP and CRM systems for multi nationals.

I had some ideas in the past to develop some Open Source ERP systems, but never really got around further than some prototypes. The moment I stumbled upon Zurmo my ideas all of sudden could be rekindled again :)

It would be a pleasure for me to be a member of this project and I think I can contribute to this project in many ways.

Cheers! Sacha

Sacha,
Welcome to Zurmo! I am glad to hear you are excited about Zurmo and interested in helping out. Perhaps an easy starting point would be helping with a language pack. What country are you from?

Hi,

My name is Hisateru Tanaka from Japan, introduced by Ray.
I'm studying Yii and using it in my small projects. This project looks a true professional Yii case study. I want to get better practices via some contributes. I will try to translate texts to Japanese from English at first.

こんにちは 田中さん!
よろしくお願いします。Nice that you are joining the Zurmo project too. I had the idea to start with the Japanese translation of Zurmo, but since I am very much a beginner it will be definitely better if somebody native can do this :)
I have completed the first release of the Dutch translation, so if you need any help to start just let me know.
どうもありがとうございます。

Currently in 2 or 3 days I'm busy to finish another product's translation task.
After it would be done, please help me to start with Zuromo. :)
