Hi Jens,

The https://bitbucket.or...rmo/messages-sv is ready with a skeleton structure. All the files are based on the 0.6.6 messages and are all in English. Just a matter now of changing/translating them into Swedish!

Enjoy! Sacha

Thanks for the help!

Hello Paulo,

Welcome to the Zurmo community! There is already a Portuguese translation started, but no updates to that have been made in a while. Are you thinking of helping on the Portuguese translation? And, would you also like to have a Brazilian Portuguese translation?

Just let me know, and we can get you started!

Cheers! Sacha

Hello Bogdan,

Welcome to the Zurmo Community! Any help is welcome. If you like to work on having Zurmo translated in Romanian, just let me know. It is not so difficult and does not require a lot of PHP knowledge.

Cheers! Sacha

Hi All!

My name is Bertrand Kintanar. I am a Web Developer from Cebu City, Philippines. I'm not sure if there are already Filipino members on Zurmo. I was contacted by Ray and he introduced Zurmo to me and it just caught my attention and interest. I'd like to help in anyway I can to improve the system's security and functionality. I can do some PHP programming but I quite suck at web design.

Let me know how can I be of help and I hope to feel at home in this forum.

Bert

Welcome Bertrand! We're glad to have you on the forum. And you should definitely feel at home. I am sure the development team will find ways for you to get involved. Being good at PHP is a plus. Don't worry about web design ;0

Welcome again!

Hi there!

My name is Agustin Villalba. I was born in Uruguay, I grew up in Spain (where I got my Computer Science degree) and now I live in Heidelberg, Germany (I'm not sure if there any Uruguayan - Spanish in the team).
I was contacted by Ray and he introduced me to the Zurmo project. Once I had a look to the project, it caught my attention immediatly
I am web developer with strong skills in PHP (I love CodeIgniter framework), jQuery, CSS (2 and 3), and HTML5. I love the projects that prefer to do amazing and modern things instead of "do it simple to implement". Also, I have strong skills in database design, I have always worked with MySQL databases, although I know a little bit of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
I would like to collaborate with in the team in any of these teams:
Infrastructure team
Database team
Perfomance team
User interface team
Features team

Thank you very much and let me know in which team I can help you.

Kind regards,

Agustin

Hi Cezar,

Welcome to the Zurmo Community! Thank you for wanting to help out translating Zurmo into Polish.
What we will do is create a message repository for the Polish language since you are the first one to start with Polish :).
Once created, the repository will already have all the message files added, so you can start translating immediately.

Just have a look at the Dutch language repository that I am managing here: https://bitbucket.or...rmo/messages-nl

Cheers! Sacha

Hi all,

I'm Patrizio, Italian, but currently living in the Netherlands.
I have experience as developer (a bit in PHP) and tester, I would like to contribute to Zurmo in my (few) free time.
Currently a bit struggling installing it as a developer on Ubuntu 12.04 (it tells me CURL is missing, even if it's there) but I hope to catch the bug soon :)

Cheers!

Hey Team,

I'm new to Zurmo and would like to be part of this community. I've been in the CRM business for over 10 years and have seen a lot come and go. I was approached by a small client recently to find an easy-to-use, mobile-ready, affordable CRM to run her business. I didn't want to trim back a bloated Sugar or the like. And I am thrilled to have come across you guys. Zurmo has quickly moved to the top of my list.

I do have a couple concerns that have not really been addressed in the FAQs or anywhere else I can find. If this is not the right spot to ask, let me know and I'm happy to repost elsewhere.

Hosting options at DotBlock, but anywhere else?

I see A LOT of issues with setup, but have not been able to find a walkthrough or admin guide anywhere so I can evaluate my current environment as a possible option for hosting. Any ideas?

Thanks guys, I look forward to finding my way into Zurmo.

Raz

Hello guys!

My name is Heitor Silva, I'm from Brazil.

Ray found me through my blog and asked me to share my opinion about Zurmo... I got so interested in the project that I want to contribute translating to Brazilian Portuguese and developing for the core team.

I have experience with PHP, Python and Ruby. Also CakePHP, Django and Rails.
Hope to have fun times with this team...

It's good to have a Brazilian Portuguese translation aside from the one that already exists. Usually the word "portuguese" by itself is linked with Portugal, not Brazil (when the subject is i18n), and the languages are quite different.

Let me know how to start properly.

Best regards
