Hello,

I was surprised and excited when I found Zurmo this past evening! I have been looking for a self hosted CRM for some time. It's important to note that we currently use SalesForce and we are ready to move away to something with more customization capabilities that isn't running on old technology and this seems right down our alley! The problem is that the installation is not user friendly. I am not able to install Zurmo on my web host after several tries. Is there anyone at Zurmo that is willing to lend a hand? The site is http://bradleycapitol.com/qivana

Cheers,

Tanner Bradley

Can you tell me on which step installation stuck?
I suggest you to set error_reporting to E_ALL, and display_errors to '1' in php.ini file.
Are you trying to install Zurmo on shared hosting, VPS or dedicated server?

If it is easier, you can request a hosted instance of Zurmo. Just click the "Free Trial" button on the homepage (http://zurmo.org/). Some web-hosting providers do not allow the necessary requirements for Installation (such as PHP 5.3 minimum), which makes it difficult. If you can answer Ivica's questions, we can figure out what the issue is.

I put in a request for free trial! Will I have access to the backend with a free trial and how long will the trial last?

We can work to get you the back-end access.

Hi Tanner,
What do you mean by backend access? Do you just need access to the Admin area or are you looking for CPanel access?
