Have some comercial software I'm looking to develop that could benefit from a CRM back-end. I'm curious -- does the zurmo system have the ability to load independent modules that fall under a different license?
I expect that any changes I make to the main system would fall under GPL3. But could I build a plug-in to the Zurmo system that I could sell, and not have to GPL the code?
(looking to build a system to help calculate details of a sales contract for a particular sector)

Great to hear you are interested in developing on Zurmo. If you build a plugin that is through the web API, it can be licensed differently that Zurmo. If you are building new modules for Zurmo then those modules probably would fall under GPLv3. Another option is to obtain an OEM license from us so that you can license your custom Zurmo application commercially.Have some comercial software I'm looking to develop that could benefit from a CRM back-end.
