Hello Community!

When I try to upload a new logo for our Zurmo I get an internal server error. The file has a size of 21KB and my apache logs don't say anything about the event so I am kind of stumped.

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

Best regards,

  ~knucKles

Can you replicate the error on the live demo?

Works great in the live demo.

Do you have any idea where to look for an error log? An internal server error should be logged somewhere, I guess.

Sadly that doesn't affect the apache error_log at all.

We can bring it up in next week's Dev Session: http://zurmo.org/for...earning-session

Make sure your VirtualHost/directory alias (if applicable) doesn't point to a different log file (like www.somesite.com.error_log), if so, the /etc/httpd/logs/error_log will not be updated with the errors for sites with custom error/access logs.

I can't think of an instance when a 500 error does not get logged (unless logging is somehow disabled).

After reading another thread in this forum I found the solution for this issue.

There is a Zurmo log file under .../zurmo/app/protected/runtime/application.log

Did you just miss that?

This log had the following entry:

2013/10/16 17:30:57 [error] [php] move_uploaded_file(/tmp/logo.png): failed to open stream: Permission denied (/var/www/vhosts/my-domain/zurmo/yii/framework/web/CUploadedFile.php:196)

The /tmp directory did not have the correct permission settings.

I am facing the same problem but not able to find any tmp directory to change its permission setting - can anyone help me?

Thanks!

If someone still need help with this problem here is solution:

1) Just create folder /tmp  in main folder of crm ( You will have other folders here: app, redbean, yii)

2) Create permision 777 on this folder

Strange that I had to figure out answer for this myself, that there is no answer for it anywhere.
