How do i setup workflow / notification emails?

Hi everyone,


Zurmo is great!

I have used other CRM's previously and this kills them.


All I want to do is receive email notifications when anything is due.


e.g: I setup a new task for a lead or client with a due date and time of X.

receive an email when the time reaches x.


Can someone please give me a straight forward guide on how I can achieve this please?


I am missing follow up calls with my clients and it's effecting my business.

In short, do a workflow on 'Tasks'. 'Due On' = 1 minute 'After Due On'. Select Triggers, click 'Completed' equals 'No'. Skip 'Select Actions'. Select Messages, choose an email template. Send after 0 Minutes. Then select who should receive the email and you are done.

Hi Ray,


In my case I just want to have a reminder in open tasks to call someone (opportunities module referal including opportunity name), when a certain data arrives (for instance, 60 days before event). No need to send an e-mail, How can I do that?
