Hi Guys,

Got a quick question...

Zurmo seems to be sending email to the root user every time a cron runs.

This is filling up the inbox fairly quickly, as it's sending multiple messages every minute.

Here's an example of one:

PHP Deprecated: Comments starting with '#' are deprecated in /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/imagick.ini
on line 1 in Unknown on line 0

Script will run at most for 300 seconds.

12/19/13 8:49 AM America/Chicago Starting job type: EmailArchiving
Info - Job completed successfully
12/19/13 8:49 AM America/Chicago Ending job type: EmailArchiving

It doesn't appear to be an 'error' message, just confirmation that the job has run successfully.

Anyone have an idea on how to get Zurmo to quit sending these emails?

Thanks!

Todd

Hi Todd,

Check your crontab.

The documentation from Zurmo on how to set the cron is not complete.

In order to stop all those emails generated every cron run you have to adjust the last part of the commands

from this: "&> /dev/null"

into something like this: "> /dev/null 2>&1"

Cheers.
