Hello,

I tried to export all my leads (about 1000) and I got a message saying a link would be emailed to me but I never received the email...  Perhaps there is something wrong in the super user email configuration?  Any help would be appreciated

Thank you

Make sure you have your cron jobs running. Or at least go to index.php/jobsManager/default/list and run them manually. You need to run ate least this one: Export Job

Thanks.  I ran the Export Job manually but after 1hr it is still running (whereas there was supposedly a timeout after 500 seconds...!)  Did the job get stuck?

I had the same. Looking into the logs i came across this error

6/10/14 9:47 AM Europe/Amsterdam Starting job type: Export
PHP Error[8]: unserialize(): Error at offset 65528 of 65535 bytes
    in file /var/www/zurmo/app/protected/modules/export/jobs/ExportJob.php at line 141
#0 /var/www/zurmo/app/protected/modules/export/jobs/ExportJob.php(141): unserialize()
#1 /var/www/zurmo/app/protected/modules/export/jobs/ExportJob.php(107): ExportJob->processExportItem()

I expect because i have added custom fields, but i'm not sure. I used the SQL query generated from the report function and exported it to manually.

To solve any issue we need to be able to know what is happening. What are the condition that make this happen? Have anyone tried to reproduce this in zurmo demo enviroments? If yes, can you provide details how to reproduce the bug?

I also have custom fields maybe that's the lead

At any rate the fact that there is no error message sent to the user is an indication that the code needs revising

I tryed locally with all the possible custom field and got no error. So are you sure its not an environment issue? Can you reproduce this in on demo.zurmo.com?

I don't know I'm not a zurmo expert, we're using Ubuntu on an AWS EC2

Where do I find the relevant log files? The log for the Export Job is empty and last run is "Never" which clearly indicates that it never went through

I didn' see anything in that log file which seemed related to the export job

I see a bunch of errors like this one:

Can you try change "localhost" for "127.0.0.1" on your perInstance.php file on the $connectionString var?

If I do that the login page displays:

"An error has occurred. Please click here to continue to the home page. If the error persists please contact your administrator.

SQLSTATE[HY000] [2003] Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (111)"

Where can I find the SQL query for the export job?  I want to export the data manually, and re-import it later

Did not try it, But i also have custom fields (quite some) and it also breaks on line 141

$dataProviderOrIdsToExport = unserialize($exportItem->serializedData);

Let me know if you have some code that i can add to the export file that helps you debug it.

I have two custom fields, 2 picklists.
