Apparently when exporting data the CSV export script does not properly place a coma between all columns. Because of this you get a program importing the CSV into other programs.

What its supposed to look like:

"col1", "col2", "col3",

"a", "b", "c",

"a", "b", "c",

"a", "b", "c",

"a", "b", "c",

"col1", "col2", "col3",

"a", "b", "c",

"a", "b"\n"c","a",

"b","c","a",

"b", "c",

I suspect something similar to the above is happening.

Hi,

I have 323 contacts in excel and I wanted to add it in my lists of contacts in zurmo, below is the sample excel format I did to organize my lists.

Let me know if its right.

First Name | Last Name | Company | Address | Suburb | State | Post Code | Country | Phone | Fax |  Mobile | Email Address

Also, may I know the steps on how to import my contacts.

Hope to hear your response/

Thank you!

You want to be sure you are mapping your excel doc according to the fields in Zurmo. For example, "Primary Address City" rather than "Suburb". Unless if you customize your fields beforehand, I would recommend keeping the labels consistent.
