drop down ate format on Import wizard step 4 of 6 does not allow source date in common format of mm/dd/yy

Hi windsor,

In the import mapping screen (step 4), when you select a date field, to the very right you will see a required dropdown field called 'Format'. Here you can select the date format of the date field in the import document. One of the options is '05/30/1950 or 12/15/2011'. This is the mm/dd/yyy format

Thanks! but.. i tried to get a 2 digit year, not 4 digit year using "/" delimiters. so the error I get from the wizard after proceessing is that the date fields are invalid and it will skip those on import.  the workaround I use is to change the source data to 4 digit year, but this is not optimal i think.

From Dev Session 4/2/13 - no plans to include mm/dd/yy date format, as it is ambiguous with respect to century. workaround is to scrub data before import.
