In Topic: Change Dropdown Salutation

Unfortunately, I was unable to make the call today, but am still experiencing the same issue.  The ZurmoDefaultDataMaker.php file has been successfully updated, but none of the added items are showing up in the Title dropdown...

Not really sure where to go from here, but really need to be able to add custom titles to this field and don't understand why updating the php file isn't working.

Hi guys,

Ok, I've altered the ZurmoDefaultDataMaker.php and added in a new salutation (title), but it's not appearing in the drop-down when trying to add a new lead?

        public function make()
            $values = array(
                Zurmo::t('CustomField', 'Mr.'),
                Zurmo::t('CustomField', 'Mrs.'),
                Zurmo::t('CustomField', 'Ms.'),
                Zurmo::t('CustomField', 'Dr.'),
		Zurmo::t('CustomField', 'Rev. Dr.')
            static::makeCustomFieldDataByValuesAndDefault('Titles', $values);
            Currency::getAll(); //build base currency.

Any ideas?

Hi Ray,

THANK YOU for this!

It'll really help keep things clean, and give us the ability to experiment a bit more in our setup.

I notice that the project state is 'Unscheduled'.  Do you have an educated guess on when it might be implemented?

Thanks again,

We just decided to buff up Accounts with custom fields and have eliminated Leads from the equation, adding the Humans as contacts for the Account/Lead. I built several workflows that move the Account through the statuses and do other things, but our solution may not be perfect for everyone. It is, however, an example of how one might use Zurmo in the vanilla state to deal with this type of scenario.

Thanks for the reply!

That's pretty much exactly what we've decided to do as well, although I do need to do some digging into workflows to help smooth the process a bit.

I've got the same issue, and am wondering if maybe these fields can be directly deleted out of the database?

Does anyone know if that'll work?
