Cronjob - Provider accept only php crons

10 December 2014 - 04:20 PM

Hi,

As first I want to say this is very nice software! I see a lot of opportunities for our company for using this.

I have only one (big) problem by setting up correct working Zurmo. Everything works fine except the cronjob because of my hostingprovider. My hostingprovider doesn't support commandline commands for cronjobs. When I want to add a cronjob using their controlpanel (the only option for adding a cronjob) I have the only options to tell the interval and absolute path and name for this cron job.

My hostingprovider say that this cron will start as a PHP script and not as a commandline command.

So my question is: is there a possibility for the option outbound e-mail using cronjobs by php and not by the commandline? Without this option I can't send any e-mails and mailings to our customers. Looking forward for your reply.

Earlier there was another guy who asked the same question but he hadn't any correct replies on his question (Aleksandr Jadov) http://zurmo.org/wik...-up-job-manager

I really appriciate your reply!

Best Regards,

Johan
