Send Test Email failure

13 March 2015 - 08:12 AM

After several tests on 3 different servers, all configured properly with the necessary Zurmo requirements and all the crons working correctly, there is a failure in the "Send Test Email" functionality both from within "Templates" and from "Campaigns". My hosts' technical reps all said basically the same thing after submitting my ticket (all 3 server hosts):

After reviewing server settings and the application error log, we were not able to find any solutions to this particular problem. Your crons are set up correctly and all the other job logs in the runtime > jobLogs folder all come out with "success" but it is your main application.log that is throwing the errors. What I can advise is to submit this issue to Zurmo's community forum and hopefully it will addressed by their developers.

Here is the error stack trace from the application.log (masking my server name, of course):

"Marketing > Templates > Send Test Email" not working

03 March 2015 - 12:45 PM

Our SMTP settings (and inbound IMAP, too) all work correctly after testing yet when I we go to "Marketing > Templates > Send Test Email" nothing happens and the test email is never sent. The modal popup just hangs with the progres wheel turning. The jobLogs also show no errors ("success" on all) and all the crons on our server look like they're working OK. When I go to Job Manager and run the logs there, too, they all look OK.

What other settings should we look at in order to make sure everything is matching up OK, relative to Zurmo's way of reading code and making sure things match? Does the super user's info have to match a certain strict criteria?

We're running Zurmo 3.0, shared hosting on HostGator, and only have one User in Zurmo with all privileges. This is kind of a (big) emergency, so it would be greatly appreciated if someone could help with this soon :)

Pagination in list view

27 February 2015 - 09:19 AM

In list view I would like to have pagination enabled but I can't find the option for that functionality. I have changed both Global and User settings for how many records to see at once – these settings work fine – but I don't want the dropdown arrow to "open up" and go to the endlessly-scrolling list of records. I would like to see a set amount of records per view (in my case, 50) then to have pagination arrows to go to each page of 50 records only (or whatever setting I choose in admin options).

I'm running the latest Zurmo on Linux shared hosting and so far everything works great except this. Here's what I mean:

In SugarCRM you can navigate to the separate pages, but even this is a bit lacking because sometimes you just want to go to a specific page by typing the number.

Sugar's version, with navigation arrows:

I don't mind changing any code, if necessary, even if it's not upgrade-safe, so please let me know how I would go about this.
