Zurmo Open Source CRM Releases 1.1.0

We’re proud of our developers. They work their tails off. And as with the two dozen or so releases they’ve shipped over the past couple of years, they never cease to amaze us. So once again, we report on a successful release that brings Zurmo closer to being even more awesome than it was before.

1.1.0 includes the following:

- LDAP - Lightweight Directory Access Protocol. This links Zurmo to an organization’s central authentication service, meaning users only need one user/pass to access multiple systems.

- Enhancements to our Conversations and Missions. For example, you can now designate a conversation as being closed or open.

- We have also included additional security controls that allow users more flexibility and control over the permissions associated with specific records.

    Hey I just updated zurmo to the lastest Version and I’m wondering how to configure LDAP. Could you please give me a hint?

      We don’t have any documentation yet, but we have Developer Sessions every Tuesday at 10:00AM Chicago Time (http://zurmo.org/forums/index.php?/calendar/). You can always join an upcoming session and ask questions about how to configure LDAP

          Aha, I see. We will create documentation on how to configure the LDAP so when that is ready, I will pass it along.

    Where is the upgrade for 1.1.31? I only see 1.1.20.

      There is no upgrade script for 1.1.3. We will create an upgrade script for our next major release (1.5)
