MySQL Database setup for Production

Purpose:
To guide individuals through creating the required MySQL Server credentials for Zurmo Production setup.

Audience:
Anyone who wants to equip his machine with Zurmo.

Setup

  • Create a Database called zurmo
  • Create user zurmo (remember this password as it will be required during install)
  • Grant user zurmo all privileges on zurmo database (important! That this user can create/drop databases)

      You do not need to worry about that. The Zurmo set-up scripts will create them. If you are merely curious, then you should run the set-up and then look at the tables with phpmyadmin or a similar tool

    I keep getting this error on install : SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1436 Thread
    stack overrun: 6880 bytes used of a 131072 byte stack, and 128000 bytes
    needed. Use ‘mysqld –thread_stack=#’ to specify a bigger stack.
